Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Ajuda is a Catholic church in central Itaquaquecetuba made up of two buildings on the same plot: the older one, raised in 1624 with rammed earth (taipa de pilão), and a newer one beside it that carries the same name. The parish church was closed for about seven years for restoration and reopened on 8 September 2014.

Construction of the church started in 1624 as a strategic location for the growing local population. It served the Jesuits as an important center for their teaching activities among nearby indigenous settlements.

The name Nossa Senhora da Ajuda (Our Lady of Help) comes from a Marian invocation and from the old name Vila Nossa Senhora d'Ajuda, given by provincial president Bernardo Gavião Peixoto. The parish keeps the Festa da Padroeira on 8 September, the date of its original inauguration, and hosts the Dança de Santa Cruz, linked to the Guaianases and the Jesuits.

The church stands in the city centre of Itaquaquecetuba, where the Diocese of Mogi das Cruzes ran a "Pré-Restauro" campaign from late 2009 to raise about R$ 2.5 million. Architect Vanessa Kraml worked on the rebuilding from early 2014, and the parish reopened on 8 September 2014, the date of its original inauguration, with a feast after Mass.

The older of the two buildings on the grounds was raised in 1624 using taipa de pilão, rammed earth, by Jesuits led by Father João Álvares, who also built the chapels of Conceição in Guarulhos and São Miguel. The newer church stands beside it under the same name.
