The Mercado Municipal de São José dos Campos is a covered marketplace located in the city center of São José dos Campos, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The hall is home to dozens of stalls selling fresh produce, meat, fish, prepared foods, and local crafts.

The market is a centenary institution whose original building was replaced by the current structure, begun in 1921 at the same address and inaugurated on 11 March 1923. The new hall has 2,188.14 m² of built area, roughly three times the size of the first building. On 4 July 1994, Municipal Law 4595/94 designated it a Level 2 Preservation Element.

The market is a daily meeting place where locals shop, chat, and run into neighbors they have known for years. The mix of food stalls and craft sellers gives the space a social energy that goes well beyond simple commerce.

The market sits in the city center and is easy to reach on foot from nearby streets. Going in the morning generally means finding fresher goods and a more active trading floor.

The 1923 building has 2,188.14 m² of floor area, roughly three times the size of the original structure it replaced at the same address. On 4 July 1994, Municipal Law 4595/94 listed it as a Level 2 Preservation Element. Today 90 merchants registered with the city sell fish, meat, vegetables, pastries and handicrafts there.
