Centro Cultural Usiminas

Centro Cultural Usiminas is a cultural complex in Ipatinga featuring a theater, art gallery, central library, and multimedia spaces. The main theater hall seats 724 people and is complemented by a Japanese garden on the grounds.

The center opened in 1998 and received a new theater wing in 2002, marking a major milestone for arts in the Vale do Aço region. This gradual expansion made it an important cultural venue for the area.

The art gallery shows exhibitions that bring together Japanese immigration history and contemporary Brazilian art side by side. You can see how both cultural traditions come together in these displays.
