Poço Encantado, Natural pool and cave in Itaetê, Brazil.

The Poço Encantado features a natural underground pool within a limestone cave system, displaying clear blue waters reaching depths of 60 meters.

The cave formation developed over millions of years through water erosion of calcium carbonate rocks, creating its current geological structure.

Local guides share their knowledge about the cave's mineral formations and underground water systems while conducting educational tours for visitors.

Visitors need to schedule guided tours in advance and descend 70 steps to reach the observation platform during the morning hours for optimal visibility.

From April to September, sunlight penetrates through a natural opening, creating light beams that illuminate the transparent waters of the pool.
