Bahia Museum of Art

The Bahia Museum of Art houses paintings, sculptures, and decorative works in multiple galleries set within a historic building featuring colonial architecture. The collection spans different artistic styles and periods across several floors.

The institution was established in 1918 and holds the distinction of being Bahia's oldest state museum. It relocated to its current location in 1982 after being housed in earlier sites.
