Estação das Docas, Waterfront leisure complex in Belém, Brazil
The Estação das Docas spans 32,000 square meters along the Guajará Bay, featuring three restored iron warehouses that house restaurants, shops, and cultural venues.
Built in 1909 with English iron structures, the port facilities included steam-powered equipment and served as a crucial trading point in northern Brazil.
The Maria Sylvia Nunes Theater within Warehouse 1 presents regular performances of regional music, dance, and theatrical productions throughout the year.
The complex maintains different operating schedules, opening from 9:00 AM on Sundays and holidays, and extending until 3:00 AM on Thursday through Saturday.
Original steam engines and vintage American cranes remain on display throughout the complex, preserving industrial elements from the early 20th century.
