Limpopo National Park

The Limpopo National Park contains diverse landscapes with mopane forests along river tributaries and extensive bushland covering 100,000 square kilometers of protected territory.

The establishment of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park connects three nations through coordinated conservation efforts between Mozambique, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.

Four entrance gates operate from 8:00 to 16:00, requiring visitors to use high-clearance vehicles for most internal roads except the main route between Giriyondo and Massingir.

The removal of border fences with Kruger National Park allows elephants, lions, and other wildlife to resume their natural migration patterns across international boundaries.
