Britam Tower

Britam Tower is a high-rise in Upper Hill that stretches 200 meters tall and features a concrete structure with a geometric prismatic form. The building contains 31 floors above ground, 3 basement levels, and connects to a dedicated 12-story parking structure.

Construction began in September 2013 and was completed four years later in September 2017. This project marks a major milestone in East Africa's modern building development during the 2010s.

The building represents the advancement of modern architecture in East Africa, incorporating structural expressionism principles in its geometric form and technological features.

The tower operates with 8 elevators to access the various floors and basement levels throughout the building. The connected parking facility can accommodate about 1,000 vehicles, making it accessible by car.

The tower was listed among the top 10 in the Emporis Skyscraper Awards, becoming the first African building to receive this honor. This 2018 recognition placed it among the world's finest contemporary high-rises.
