Istana Bung Hatta, Presidential palace in Bukittinggi City, Indonesia
The Istana Bung Hatta stands with a total building area of 3,672 square meters and features a 65 by 54-meter floor plan in central Bukittinggi.
The palace underwent reconstruction in 1961 after the original structure was destroyed during the Second Dutch Military Aggression in 1948.
Two statues of Mohammad Hatta grace the palace grounds, with one positioned at the front entrance and another along the building's side.
The palace welcomes visitors from Wednesday through Monday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with guided tours available throughout operating hours.
In 1965, the palace hosted a ceremony where President Sukarno's wife Hartini received the traditional Minangkabau title of Bundo Kandung Agung.
