Kensington Bushland, Nature reserve in Town of Victoria Park, Australia
Kensington Bushland extends across nine hectares of natural land between the Swan and Canning Rivers, maintaining indigenous vegetation and wildlife habitats.
The State Government designated this area as a bush forever site, preserving the remnant urban bushland for future generations.
The reserve contains traditional jarrah-banksia woodland on Bassendean soil, displaying native species such as Eucalyptus marginata and Banksia attenuata.
The bushland provides walking paths, picnic areas, a car park, and allows dogs on leashes, with entrance located at Etwell Street in Kensington.
The canopy features Nuytsia floribunda, known as Western Australian Christmas tree, along with various Banksia species native to this region.
