Lesueur National Park is a nature reserve in Western Australia that combines coastal dunes, heathlands, and woodlands across a large area. The varied terrain creates many different environments to discover.
The park takes its name from French explorer Charles Lesueur, who traveled along this coast in the early 1800s. His expeditions helped map this part of Australia.
The Amangu people have called this land home for thousands of years and continue to hold deep ties to the region as its Traditional Owners.
The park has multiple walking trails of different lengths to suit various fitness levels and time available. Some paths work well for short visits while others allow for longer exploration.
The reserve protects around 900 plant species that represent a significant portion of Western Australia's total flora. This concentration of botanical diversity makes it a remarkable place for nature study.
