Tumurun Museum, Modern art museum in Surakarta, Indonesia.

Tumurun Museum is a two-floor private art museum on Jalan Kebangkitan Nasional in Surakarta, run by the Lukminto family of the Sritex textile company. The ground floor shows about a hundred contemporary works, opened by Wedhar Riyadi's seven-metre "Floating Eyes" installation of eyeballs and a 1972 Mercedes-Benz owned by H.M. Lukminto; the upper floor keeps old-master modern pieces for the family.

The museum opened in 2018, founded by the Lukimento family, who built their name through the textile industry in the region. It was set up to bring contemporary art to a city known mainly for its traditional crafts and royal heritage.

The name Tumurun comes from the Javanese phrase turun-temurun, meaning handed down from one generation to the next. The museum was founded by Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto as a tribute to his father, H.M. Lukminto, a collector and art lover, and as a recognition of Indonesian artists. Visitors can see works by Affandi, Raden Saleh, Basoeki Abdullah and Walter Spies, alongside pieces from Japan, the Philippines, Singapore and the United States.

Visits require a reservation made in advance on the museum's official website; the museum applies a scheduling system and accepts only a limited number of reservations each day. It opens Monday to Saturday. A guide briefs visitors on the museum's history and rules, then accompanies them for one hour, with 15 minutes set aside for photography. Flash, touching artworks and very close-up photos are not allowed. The museum is on Jalan Kebangkitan Nasional 2/4 in Sriwedari, Laweyan, 300 m south of Jalan Slamet Riyadi, beside sate kambing Pak Manto and 200 m north of the flower market.

The classic car collection is not tucked away in a separate wing but shown alongside the contemporary artworks, making it part of the same visit. This side-by-side display of automobiles and paintings is something visitors rarely expect to find in an art museum.
