Warby Range State Park covers a large area featuring granite hills, woodlands, and different forest types that create varied habitats across the landscape. Trails connect various sections, passing through open spaces and tree-covered terrain as they move across the park.
The name comes from Ben Warby, a pastoralist who settled in the area during the 1800s. The land later became protected to preserve its natural value and remains an important conservation area.
