Cornwall Park, Park and sports facility in Epsom, Auckland, New Zealand.
Cornwall Park covers more than 670 acres (270 hectares) and features open lawns, tree-lined paths, flower gardens, native trees, and the volcanic cone of One Tree Hill with views across Auckland.
Sir John Logan Campbell donated the land in 1901 to create this public park, and the formal deeds were presented to the Duke of Cornwall in 1902, later King George V.
The park contains Maungakiekie Pā, an ancient Māori fortress on One Tree Hill, and hosts community events including outdoor concerts, art exhibitions, and guided nature walks throughout the year.
The park is located less than 6 miles (10 kilometers) from Auckland's city center, accessible by car or public transport, and offers free parking, picnic areas, tennis courts, and a children's playground.
Cornwall Park operates a working farm with grazing sheep and cattle that provides educational opportunities for city children to learn about agriculture and sustainable land management.
