Bullen's Animal World, Safari park in Wallacia, Australia
Bullen's Animal World was a safari park in Wallacia where visitors could observe diverse animal species, including lions and tigers, directly from their vehicles. The site was specifically designed as a drive-through facility to provide families with an interactive wildlife experience.
The park was established in 1969 by Stafford Bullen, whose father Alfred Percival Bullen had founded a circus, and continued operating until 1985. The family's circus background influenced how the facility was run throughout its years of operation.
The park combined traditional circus entertainment techniques with educational programs about wildlife conservation and animal behaviors for local families.
The site was located on Park Road in Wallacia, roughly 50 km (31 mi) west of Sydney in western New South Wales. Today the area is used by Zambi Wildlife Retreat, which welcomes visitors by appointment.
The facility maintained strong connections to circus traditions through the Bullen family while operating as a modern wildlife exhibition center.
