Shirelive Church

The church building features modern architectural elements with large open interior spaces, contemporary acoustics, and lighting systems designed to accommodate over a thousand congregants during worship services and community gatherings.

Originally established in 1949 as Sutherland Assembly of God, the church underwent several name changes before becoming Shirelive in 2006 and finally adopting the Horizon Church name in 2018 under the leadership of Pastors Brad and Alison Bonhomme.

The congregation practices Pentecostal expressions including speaking in tongues and divine healing, maintaining a charismatic worship style that emphasizes supernatural gifts, contemporary music, and active faith participation within the Australian evangelical community.

Located at 7-9 Stapleton Avenue in Sutherland, the church conducts regular Sunday services with online streaming options available, and operates satellite locations in St Andrews Sydney, Busselton Western Australia, and Rote Island Indonesia.

Notable congregation member Scott Morrison, Australia's former Prime Minister, has been associated with this church, which also operates international missions including support for churches and aid programs on Rote Island in Indonesia.
