Pindar Cave is a large sandstone overhang in Brisbane Water National Park near Wondabyne. The natural formation extends roughly 50 meters with a sandy floor and open areas surrounded by smooth stone walls and a light-colored ceiling.
The cave formed through weathering and erosion of sandstone over many years. The area has long been known to local communities who used the sheltered space for rest and various activities.

The cave can be reached via a marked trail from Wondabyne train station, about 12 kilometers round trip with climbs and uneven ground. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring plenty of water, and check the weather before setting out.
Wondabyne train station is only accessible by train with no road access. The return journey requires flagging down a train at this remote station, making the entire adventure uniquely memorable.
