Brisbane Water National Park

Brisbane Water National Park is a nature reserve on the Central Coast that covers a large area with diverse landscapes. The terrain features sandstone cliffs, patches of rainforest, and eucalyptus woodland that together create a varied environment.

The park area contains numerous rock engravings that show Indigenous peoples lived in this region for thousands of years. These ancient marks on stone are direct evidence of long human presence at this location.

Entry is paid at designated parking areas where automated machines handle the fees. It helps to research the different entrances beforehand to reach your desired areas more easily.

The park is home to rare animal species that often go unnoticed, and native plants bloom fully in spring. Platypuses and koalas are particularly hard to spot because they stay active when most visitors have already left the grounds.
