Daréoui

Daréoui is a mountain summit located on Grande Terre, the main island of New Caledonia in the South Pacific. The peak rises 172 meters above sea level and anchors the mountainous landscape of this territory.

The mountain formed as part of the geological separation of New Caledonia from Antarctica between 130 and 85 million years ago. This ancient geological event shaped the islands into their current form.
