Rancho Mirage

Rancho Mirage is a city in Riverside County, California, covering around 64 square kilometers (24.7 square miles) of desert terrain at the foothills of the Santa Rosa Mountains. The layout includes numerous golf courses, residential communities, and medical facilities spread across the flat valley floor.

The city was established in 1973 and transformed from agricultural land into a place known for presidential retreats and political gatherings. Development brought medical centers and residential communities focused on recreation and health.
