Desert Diamond Arena is a multipurpose hall in Glendale with 19,000 seats for concerts and entertainment events. The facility also offers 3,075 club seats and 87 luxury suites for different event formats.
Construction of the hall began in April 2002 and was completed in December 2003 at a cost of 220 million dollars. Since then, the facility has been renamed several times and has carried its current name for several years.
The hall serves as a central stop for major touring concerts and events that draw visitors from across the state throughout the year. Families and music fans regularly fill the stands while changing productions on stage provide variety.
The hall is located about 12.5 miles northwest of Phoenix and is easily accessible by car via Loop 101. Parking is available in several lots around the grounds, and on event days visitors should allow extra time for arrival.
The facility forms the center of a large entertainment district on grounds covering 223 acres. Shops, restaurants, and cinemas are located in the immediate vicinity that visitors can explore before or after an event.
