The Glendale Veterans War Memorial stands on the lawn in front of the Glendale Public Library at 5959 West Brown Street. It was created by artist Joe Tyler with ceramist Scott Cisson and sculptor Sylvania Anderson, and incorporates pieces of the USS Arizona, sunk at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

The memorial was established in 2002 and incorporates authentic pieces from the USS Arizona battleship, which sank during the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack. This connection to a defining moment in the nation's history gives the site its deeper meaning.

The memorial is also called the Glendale USS Arizona Memorial, a name it took in 2002, the year it was created. It honours United States veterans of all wars, and its centrepiece is salvaged material from the USS Arizona, sunk at Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941.
