Camelback Ranch–Glendale is a baseball complex in Phoenix, Arizona, owned by the city of Glendale and operated by Camelback Spring Training LLC. Its main stadium seats 13,000 under a low reddish-brown canopy on steel columns, with tan tiered seating, a sunken field 12 feet below grade, and a concourse of dark glass and open-air suites. The site also holds 12 practice diamonds, three practice infields, a fish-stocked lake and an orange grove.
The facility was founded in 2009 and became the spring training headquarters for two Major League Baseball teams. Since then, it has served as their regular training location during the spring preparation season.
The stadium brings together the training operations of two major teams in one location, with architecture that reflects the desert setting and incorporates local materials in the building facades.
The complex is located on Camelback Road and has multiple entrance points with ample parking for visitors. The grounds feature public facilities and are straightforward to navigate, even on a first visit.
The lake between the two training facilities is stocked with fish and supplies irrigation water for the complex's landscaping and playing fields. More than 5,000 plants and trees were planted around it, and a Walk of Fame runs along the water feature.
