The Fox Tucson Theatre features Spanish Colonial Revival elements with curved walls, decorative moldings, and intricate ceiling patterns throughout its 1,200-seat auditorium.
Built in 1930 as a movie palace, the theatre closed its doors for several decades before undergoing complete restoration efforts that concluded in 2005.
The theatre presents concerts, film screenings, and stage performances while maintaining educational programs to support local artistic development in Southern Arizona.
Visitors can purchase tickets at the box office from Tuesday to Friday between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM or two hours before any scheduled performance.
The restoration process preserved original Art Deco details while integrating modern sound systems and lighting technology for enhanced performance capabilities.
