Architect Carla Di Bello Robles designed this 25-million-dollar stadium, which opened its doors to the public on October 10, 1999.
The stadium bears the name of Rod Carew, a Panamanian baseball player who made his mark in Major League Baseball with exceptional achievements.
With a seating capacity of 27,000, the stadium provides access to multiple sporting events, including baseball matches from national and international competitions.
The facility hosted spring training exhibition games between the New York Yankees and Miami Marlins in March 2014.
