Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, Aguascalientes City, Aguascalientes State, Mexico

The shrine features ornate New Spanish Baroque architecture with detailed stonework, high vaulted ceilings, and multiple religious sculptures throughout the interior.

Built in 1767 under the direction of local clergy, this religious edifice stands as one of the earliest Catholic structures in the Aguascalientes region.

Regular religious ceremonies occur at the shrine, particularly during December when thousands gather to celebrate the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Located at General Guadalupe Victoria 213 in the city center, visitors can access the shrine daily from sunrise to sunset without entrance fees.

The shrine houses a collection of religious artifacts from the 18th century, including original paintings depicting the apparitions of the Virgin Mary.
