The Anton Wulff House displays Italianate architecture with a square tower, paired arch windows, and a limestone exterior at 107 King William Street.
German immigrant Anton Wulff constructed this residence between 1869 and 1870 on land that belonged to the San Antonio de Valero Mission.
The house incorporates a circular bas-relief in the gable featuring a sculptured bust of Carolina Wulff, created by her brother Henry.
The San Antonio Conservation Society purchased and restored the property in 1974 with funds from the Sheerin Foundation and Economic Development Administration.
Before the San Antonio River changed course in 1926, the property included a boathouse and bathhouse along the water's edge.
