Anton Wulff House

The Anton Wulff House is a residential building in the King William District featuring Italianate architecture with a square tower, paired arched windows, and a limestone facade located at 107 King William Street. The structure was completed between 1869 and 1870 and remains a notable example of period design elements from that era.

German immigrant Anton Wulff built this residence between 1869 and 1870 on land that once belonged to the San Antonio de Valero Mission. The location connects the property to the city's Spanish colonial heritage and early development.

The house displays a circular relief sculpture in the gable depicting Carolina Wulff, crafted by her brother Henry as a family tribute. This artistic detail reflects how residents left personal marks on their homes during the 19th century.
