Heroes Stadium, Multi-purpose stadium in San Antonio, United States

Heroes Stadium is an open-style football stadium in San Antonio, Texas, with 11,000 seats, built on the 58-acre site of the abandoned Longhorn Quarry. A scoreboard at the edge of the running track and field reads "NORTH EAST ATHLETIC COMPLEX" and "HEROES STADIUM", with a digital clock panel above three reddish-brown brick panels. A video board measuring 15 by 25 ft was installed in 2010.

Heroes Stadium opened in 2009 on the 58-acre site of the abandoned Longhorn Quarry, funded by $27.5 million from a 2007 North East ISD bond. A 15 by 25 ft video board was added in 2010. On August 27, 2010, ESPN televised a Madison Mavericks versus Steele Knights game here as part of its High School Rise Kickoff Event.

Heroes Stadium is one of two venues, with Comalander Stadium, that host football, track and field, soccer and band events for the high schools of the North East Independent School District; district middle and elementary schools also compete here. The scoreboard carries the name "North East Athletic Complex" above a band reading "Heroes Stadium".

Heroes Stadium sits on a 58-acre site off the former Longhorn Quarry, with 2,525 paved parking spaces on site. The scoreboard at the edge of the running track and football field shows the time and date in orange digits, so arriving visitors can orient themselves by it. Access is by car; the grounds are open-style with seating for 11,000.

The San Antonio Scorpions played their inaugural 2012 NASL season at Heroes Stadium while Toyota Field was being built, drawing an average of 9,176 spectators and selling out on a couple of occasions. The club later moved into its own ground.
