David W. Carter High School, Public high school in Oak Cliff, Dallas, United States.

David W. Carter High School is a secondary school with classrooms, laboratories, and athletic facilities on a campus in Oak Cliff. The grounds stretch along West Wheatland Road and include buildings for instruction and extracurricular activities.

The school opened in 1966 and was named after David Wendel Carter, who served on the Dallas school district board from 1925 to 1950. It grew into an important education center in the southern part of the city.

The annual football game against Justin F. Kimball High School is known as the Oak Cliff Super Bowl and draws neighbors from across the area. This tradition shapes the school calendar and strengthens community bonds across generations.

The address is 1819 West Wheatland Road in the Oak Cliff neighborhood south of downtown Dallas. The campus is open to visitors during school hours with advance notice.

The football team won the Texas championship in Division 5A in 1988, but the title was later revoked due to violations of academic rules. This episode remains a notable chapter in the school's sports history and in the region.
