Gallier House

Gallier House is a single-family home in New Orleans's French Quarter featuring classical design mixed with Italianate architectural details throughout its structure. James Gallier Jr., a prominent New Orleans architect, designed and built this house in 1857 for his own family to live in. The residence became a demonstration of the city's growing prosperity and architectural advancement during the mid-1800s.
