Rice–Totten Field, Football stadium at Mississippi Valley State University, United States.
Rice-Totten Field is an American football stadium on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, Mississippi. It has an artificial turf playing surface and covered seating along both sides of the field.
The stadium opened in 1958 under the name Magnolia Stadium and was the center of campus athletics from the start. It was renamed in 2000 to honor two former players, Jerry Rice and Willie Totten, who had shaped the university's football program.
The stadium is home to the Delta Devils, the football team of Mississippi Valley State University, and draws students and fans together on game days. The team competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, one of the historically Black college athletic conferences in the United States.
The stadium entrance is on Fannie Lou Hamer Street in Leflore County and is easy to spot from the main campus road. Basic food stands and restrooms are available on site during events.
Willie Totten, one of the two namesakes of the stadium, later returned as head coach and led the team at the very facility where he had played. It is rare in college football for a former player to both have a stadium named after him and then coach at that same stadium.
