The Grammy Museum Mississippi contains interactive exhibits across 28,000 square feet, featuring displays about recording technology and musical instruments throughout American history.
Opening its doors in March 2016, the museum emerged from a partnership between local organizations and the Cleveland Music Foundation to honor Mississippi's musical heritage.
The museum presents numerous artifacts from Grammy ceremonies, including performance outfits from Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Elvis Presley, and Faith Hill throughout different decades.
Located at 800 West Sunflower Road on Delta State University campus, the museum operates Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Sunday 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
The museum building incorporates design elements from Mississippi Delta sharecropper structures while maintaining contemporary exhibition spaces with touch screens and dance floors.
