Oak Mountain State Park, State park in Pelham, US
Oak Mountain State Park is a large forested landscape in central Alabama that features mountains, lakes, and waterfalls throughout its grounds. The property also includes an 18-hole golf course and a marina for those interested in water activities.
The park began in 1927 as a protected area and grew significantly through the following decades. It became Alabama's largest state park through ongoing conservation efforts and land acquisitions.
