The Viadutos Building is a 26-story residential structure that blends Art Deco, Art Nouveau, and modern architectural styles together. The tower houses roughly 368 apartments with different floor plan options designed to meet various residential needs.
Architect João Artacho Jurado completed this residential project in 1958 during a period of rapid architectural change in São Paulo's urban growth. The building emerged at a time when the city was modernizing quickly and high-rises were reshaping the downtown landscape.
The building received the Conpresp Good Class heritage designation, marking its significance in preserving the architectural identity of São Paulo.
The building sits at Praça General Craveiro Lopes 19 and is easily reached via the viaducts that frame the immediate area. Keep in mind this is a private residential tower, so public access to the interior spaces may be limited or not available.
