Armadale Reptile Centre, Wildlife center in Armadale, Australia
The Armadale Reptile Centre exhibits more than 50 species of reptiles, including saltwater crocodiles, lizards, snakes, turtles, and various Australian birds.
Since its establishment in 1995, owners Klaas and Mieke Gaikhorst have dedicated their expertise to wildlife protection, building upon Klaas's experience as Perth Zoo's reptile keeper.
The center functions as an educational facility where visitors learn about Australian wildlife through direct observation and scheduled animal interaction sessions.
Located at 308 South Western Highway, the center opens six days weekly from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering adult tickets for $22 and child tickets for $8.
The rehabilitation hospital within the facility provides medical care for injured wildlife, preparing animals for release back into their natural environments.
