The Cloud, Auckland

The Cloud is a contemporary event hall at Queens Wharf overlooking Auckland's waterfront, featuring expansive glass walls that frame views of Waitematā Harbour. The building spans a long stretch of the wharf with multiple floor levels and flexible interior spaces designed to accommodate various types of gatherings.

The structure was built in 2011 for the Rugby World Cup and has since become a defining landmark on Auckland's waterfront. A historic storage warehouse was retained on the site, creating a juxtaposition between old and new architecture.

The venue serves as a gathering point where Aucklanders and international visitors meet for large-scale events and celebrations throughout the year. It has become part of the city's identity as a place where business, culture, and community come together.
