Bicsa Financial Center, Modern skyscraper in Avenida Balboa, Panama City, Panama.
The Bicsa Financial Center is a modern skyscraper with 68 floors above ground and 4 underground levels that rises 267 meters high. The structure houses numerous offices and commercial spaces spread across approximately 212,000 square meters of total floor area.
The project emerged after an earlier plan for the Ice Tower was scrapped and construction started in 2009. Its completion and opening in 2013 marked a turning point in the development of the financial district.
The building reflects Panama's role as an international financial center and shapes the city's skyline with its contemporary presence from all angles.
The building is easily accessible from Avenida Balboa and has good transport connections for visitors arriving from different parts of the city. Most areas are open to public access during business hours.
The exterior is clad in gold-tinted glass that creates a shimmering effect when sunlight hits it. This makes the tower easily recognizable from many vantage points across the city.
