Rogers Building

The Rogers Building is a structure on South Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando featuring Queen Anne architecture with pressed metal sheets over a wooden frame. The construction method gives the building its distinctive appearance and sets it apart from other historic structures nearby.

The building was constructed in 1886 by English businessman Gordon Rogers and initially served as a meeting place for British immigrants who had settled in Central Florida. This early purpose reveals the important role it played in the community of English settlers in the region.
