The Sherwood Baptist Church campus extends across a large property featuring a 2,250-seat worship center, a 300-seat chapel, and educational facilities.
Established in 1955 in an Army Reserve building, the church acquired 6.3 acres of land and constructed its first educational building that seated 750 people in 1958.
The church operates Sherwood Christian Academy, providing education from kindergarten through twelfth grade while integrating religious teachings into the curriculum.
Worship services occur twice on Sundays at 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with additional Connect Groups meeting at 8:15 AM for seniors and 11:00 AM for all ages.
Sherwood Pictures, founded in 2002, produces feature films distributed nationwide, including Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous.
