University Stadium

University Stadium is a sports facility in Carrollton with an artificial turf field and seating for approximately 10,000 spectators. The venue primarily hosts football games and other athletic events for the university.

Construction began in 2008 after the university acquired land from Carrollton, with the facility opening in 2009. The project marked an important expansion of the university's athletic facilities.

The stadium serves as the gathering place for University of West Georgia football fans, where students, staff, and local residents come together throughout the season. Game days shape the social rhythm of campus life and connect different generations of the university community.

The stadium offers parking with reserved spaces in Lot B and first-come basis in Lots A, C, and D. Shuttle services connect campus lots to the facility, helping visitors reach the venue.

The grounds host more than just the football stadium and include a practice field for soccer, a softball stadium, and a separate women's athletic building. This diverse use makes it a comprehensive athletic center for multiple university sports.
