Alliance Center, Commercial skyscraper in Buckhead, Atlanta, US.
Alliance Center is a glass and steel office tower in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, Georgia. The building rises over several floors and houses workspaces for companies mainly in finance and professional services.
The tower was built in the early 2000s, during a period when Buckhead was transitioning from a residential neighborhood into a major commercial hub. That wave of construction reshaped the skyline of northern Atlanta and drew many corporate tenants to the area.
Buckhead is known as Atlanta's main business district, and the streets around this tower are lined with corporate offices, upscale restaurants, and hotels. On weekdays the area fills with people in business attire moving between meetings, giving the neighborhood a fast-paced work-day character.
The building sits near Highway 400 and Interstate 85, making it straightforward to reach by car, and parking is available on site. Since it is a private office complex, visitors without an appointment should expect limited access to the interior.
The facade is made of angled glass panels that catch and scatter sunlight differently as the day progresses, so the tower looks noticeably different in the morning than it does in the late afternoon. This effect is most visible on clear days when the sun is low.
