Rock Spring Presbyterian Church is a church building in Atlanta designed with Tudor Revival architecture located at 1824 Piedmont Avenue. The structure features granite walls, half-timbered details, and stucco surfaces that reflect English period design elements.
Charles H. Hopson designed the building in 1923 using granite from Cheshire Creek for construction. The church received recognition as a place of historical importance in 1990.
The congregation maintained regular worship services and community gatherings in this location until their final assembly on November 17, 2019.
The property spans about 1.5 acres with the main church building, an educational annex, and three adjacent townhouses. Heritage Preparatory School currently operates the facilities for educational purposes.
The original architectural drawings by Charles Hopson are displayed in the building's History Room alongside photographs from the 1920s construction period. These documents provide insight into the design process and construction methods of this historical structure.
