3344 Peachtree is a 50-story tower standing 195 meters tall along Peachtree Road in northern Atlanta. The structure blends office and residential spaces, serving both work and living functions.
3344 Peachtree was completed in spring 2008, designed by the firm Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates. At 635 feet it became the tallest mixed-use building in Atlanta and the tallest tower in the city outside downtown and midtown, surpassing Park Avenue Condominiums. It is owned by Cousins Properties of Atlanta and forms part of the Tower Place complex with Tower Place 100 and Buckhead Grand.
The residential portion is named Sovereign, and the building's interiors were decorated by artist Todd Murphy, who supplied some of his own original pieces. Bistro Niko, a French bistro on the premises, serves as a meeting point for residents and visitors in Buckhead.
The Sovereign residences fill floors 28 to 50, reached by lifts from the Peachtree Road lobby; the 82 units are private, so visitors stay in the ground-floor dining and office areas. Bistro Niko, the French bistro, is the easiest part of the tower to visit. The building sits in the Tower Place complex beside Tower Place 100 and Buckhead Grand.
The tower is part of the Tower Place complex, which also holds the 401-foot Tower Place 100 and the 451-foot Buckhead Grand. Artist Todd Murphy was hired to decorate the building, including some of his own original pieces.
