Reid House

Reid House is a ten-story apartment building on Peachtree Street featuring Classical Revival architecture with four stacks of residential units. Semi-private elevator lobbies connect adjacent apartments throughout the structure, creating separate circulation spaces.

The building was constructed in 1924 as the Garrison Apartments and served as residential housing from its opening. A major renovation occurred in the 1970s, which led to its transformation into luxury condominiums.

The building sits across from the High Museum of Art and displays pre-war Manhattan-style apartment design in its floor layouts. This architectural approach shaped how residents could live in the city during the early 20th century.
