1100 Peachtree

1100 Peachtree is an octagonal commercial tower in Midtown Atlanta with 28 floors rising to 428 feet and containing office space throughout its height. The building features a distinctive stepped top design that creates a pyramid-like silhouette when viewed from street level.

The tower was completed in 1991 and initially served as headquarters for AT&T executives. It later became the home office of law firm Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, which occupied the building for many years.

The building reflects the architectural style of early 1990s Atlanta through its stepped roofline that glows at night, becoming part of how people recognize the skyline.

The building sits in Midtown's business district with good access via public transportation and pedestrian walkways. Keep in mind this is a private office building, so interior access is limited to those with business there.

The building became Atlanta's first high-rise to earn the EPA's Energy Star certification in 2000, reflecting its advanced energy efficiency systems. This achievement was notably rare for an office building of its size at that time.
