Regions Plaza, High-rise building in Midtown, Atlanta, United States
Regions Plaza is a 24-floor office tower in Midtown Atlanta, situated along West Peachtree Street near the Arts Center area. The building has multiple elevators and a dedicated parking entrance on Spring Street.
The tower opened in 2001 under the name Atlantic Center Plaza, part of a wave of office development in Midtown Atlanta at the time. It was later renovated in 2014 and eventually took on its current name.
The building houses the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, which serves as a connection point between Atlanta and Taiwan. Visitors to that office step into a space where international business and exchange take place on a daily basis.
The tower sits along West Peachtree Street in Midtown and is easy to reach on foot from Arts Center Station. Those arriving by car should use the Spring Street entrance to access parking directly.
The building stands at a spot where Midtown's oldest towers and its later additions sit side by side, which makes the contrast between different eras of construction very easy to see from the street. This layering of building generations is something few visitors stop to notice.
