Truist Park, Baseball stadium in Cumberland, Georgia
Truist Park is a baseball stadium in Cumberland, Georgia, featuring three tiers of grandstands surrounding the playing field. A protective canopy 90 feet (27 meters) wide covers the upper deck and the venue holds more than 40,000 spectators.
The stadium opened in April 2017 as SunTrust Park and became the new home for the Atlanta Braves after their departure from Turner Field. The name changed to Truist Park in 2020 following a merger between two banks.
The Monument Garden along the main concourse presents the team's past through displays and a statue honoring Hank Aaron. Visitors see reminders of key moments and important players from different decades.
The stadium opens Monday through Friday between half past eight in the morning and five in the afternoon when no games are scheduled. Several parking lots are nearby and public transport connects the venue with downtown Atlanta.
A treehouse in left-center field serves as a private suite and carries the name Home Depot Clubhouse. For younger guests the Hope & Will's Sandlot zone offers a play area with a zipline and baseball motifs.
