San Fran Dhammaram Temple, Thai Buddhist temple in Lincoln Way, San Francisco, US
The San Fran Dhammaram Temple contains a main Buddha statue and functions as a spiritual center for the Thai Buddhist community in San Francisco.
Founded in 2002 by Venerable Acariya Thoon Khippapanyo, the temple moved to its current location at 2645 Lincoln Way in 2009 after extensive renovations.
The temple offers Thai language classes and traditional Thai musical instrument instruction while serving authentic Thai cuisine to its community members.
Visitors can participate in daily morning chanting, Buddhist teachings, and alms rounds that occur six days per week at different locations throughout San Francisco.
This establishment represents the 50th temple of the Dhammayut Order in the United States and remains the only Thai Buddhist temple in San Francisco.
