Steve Jobs Theatre

The Steve Jobs Theatre is a 1,000-seat auditorium located underground beneath a distinctive glass entrance pavilion measuring 135 feet (41 meters) in diameter. A curved roof made of carbon fiber panels covers the circular structure, creating a modern architectural statement.

The theater opened in 2017 as the final major building at the new Apple Park, marking the completion of the company's relocation to its redesigned headquarters. Its creation was part of a years-long transformation that redefined the company's physical and symbolic presence.

This venue serves as Apple's primary stage for revealing new products to the world and shapes how tech companies present their innovations. Visitors experience the connection between design and function that defines the company's approach to technology.

Access to the underground auditorium is provided through two stone staircases or a rotating glass elevator that moves between levels. Visitors should note that this building is part of Apple's private campus and is generally not open for public tours.

The iconic roof consists of 44 identical carbon fiber panels assembled in a single lifting operation, an extraordinary feat of engineering. This specialized construction method is one of the building's most overlooked architectural accomplishments.
