Little Si, Mountain trail near North Bend, Washington, United States.
Little Si is a forested hill near North Bend, Washington, with a hiking trail that gains about 1,200 feet (370 m) in elevation. The trail runs through dense second-growth forest and ends at a rocky viewpoint looking out over the Snoqualmie Valley.
The area was designated a conservation zone in 1987 to protect its old forest and geological features. The name Little Si comes from its larger neighbor, Mount Si, which has attracted hikers since the late 1800s.
Little Si sits within a landscape that Indigenous peoples of the region traveled through for generations, using the forests for hunting and gathering. Today, the trail draws locals from nearby North Bend who treat it as a regular outdoor destination rather than a one-time visit.
A Discover Pass is required for parking at the trailhead, so it is worth getting one before you arrive. In some seasons, a bus route reaches the trailhead directly, which makes the visit easy without a car.
The trail connects to the Boulder Garden Loop, which can be entered from two different points along the main path, letting hikers add a side circuit or cut through to the Mount Si trail network. This makes Little Si a starting point for longer routes rather than just a short outing.
